the Mediterranean Sea, in the Northern Galilee with Lebanon, and in the East, the Golan Heights with Syria. These geographical areas share a significant part  1 million years of human history.

the first acculturated wheat seeds .

We will encounter: Abraham, Joshua, the Israelites, King Herod, Jesus and the 12 Apostles, Josephus Flavius, Vespasianus, the worriers of the Big Rebellion (second Temple Period), The Hasmonaeans, Rabbi Akiva and The Mishna Wise People, Salach A-Din, The Crusaders, The Ottomans, the Zionist Pioneers -all were active and constantly impacted the unique story of Land of Israel and the region, throughout history.

In 3 days we will have an unforgettable experience in all our senses.

Day 1

Tel Aviv, Caesarea, Acre, Rosh Hanikra Grottoes, Zafed

Reservation for Hotel or Zimmer according to specific proposal.

Caesarea

The Roman city King Herod built in 22 BCE.

We will visit the roman Theatre, Herod's Palace, The Roman Hippodrome for horse racing, the public Roman bath and reconstructed ruins of a shrine he built for Antonius Caesar.

We will also visit the coast nearby the glorious remains of the famous Aqueduct, part of the amazing water system that supplied water to more than 60000 residents in the big Roman city in the Land of Israel (except in Jerusalem).

Acre (aka Akko)

Acre became an important port city and the capital of the Crusaders Jerusalem Kingdom and center of Jewish learning on 13th century CE.

In 1799, Napoleon was defeated by the famous Ottoman city walls.

We will visit the crusaders city that was buried entirely by the Ottomans and recently reconstructed.

We also will enjoy the Ottoman market and the delicious Arabic cuisine in the port.

Also, we will discover the Jewish heritage of Acre.

Rosh Hanikra Grottoes

We will enjoy the natural sculpturing of the grottoes and cave with the waves of the Mediterranean. Here we will also visit "the Good Fence" on the border with Lebanon.

Zafed

Zafed, which is considered The Capital of the Galilee, became famous

in 16th century when it evolved as the center of Jewish learning, especially the Kabballa developed there by scholars such as Haari Rabbi Isaac Luria and others.

We will visit the ancient Haari Synagogue (16th century) where the Jewish Kabbalat Shabbat was created by Haari and his Hassidim. Here we will experience  Zafed's unique spiritual atmosphere while browsing one-of-a-kind Jewish Art Galleries.

Day 2

The Golan Heights Adventure

The chain of Mountains, and the Hermon mountain that we will see, were created as a result of the tectonic rift movement in the Syrian/African break.

The Golan Heights was part of the Galilee and Land of Israel in the Biblical period in 1200 BCE and on.

We learn that God revealed himself to Abraham in the Hermon area and that he made a ceremonial pact with him: the first covenant promises that his decedents were to inherit The Land Of Israel (around 2000 BCE).

Two and a half of the Israelite tribes settled in Gilad and Bashan, the Biblical names for the same region.

Jewish villages were developed in the 2nd temple period, and after the destruction of 2nd temple in the year 70 CE, the Jews were expelled from the

area but would return around year 200, during the Mishnah period. In The New Testament we learn about the journey of Jesus and the Apostles to

Banish, before they walked to Jerusalem during Jesus's last week of life.

Early Christian communities also settled near to the Jewish villages, and that is why we find ancient Synagogues (Katzrin, Um Kanatir) and ancient Churches

Kursi, Susita) in the Byzantine Period (4th -7th century.)

The Islamic invasion in 7Th century brought part of the groups that later became the variety of ethnicities and nationalities that shaped the big powers after World War 1 when France and England created states: Syria 1944 (by France), Lebanon 1943 (by France), Jordan 1946 (by England), Israel 1948 (after the British Mandate left the region)

Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq —all Arab states—attacked Israel

in 1948 in The War of Independence, and all were swiftly defeated, against all odds.

As a result of cease-fire lines and constant threats on Israel citizens and on our water reservoir, the 6 Day War was provoked in 1967.

The results: Judea and Samaria (under Jordan ) were conquered by Israel.

Jerusalem was reunited (with the Old City that had been international under Jordan), and The Golan Heights conquered. Threats against Israel continued resulting in the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and after a bitter war with great Israeli human losses, Israel again improved her geopolitical stand and agreed to cease-fire lines that are relatively quiet till today.

On our tour we will observe in the Bentel Mountain Lookout and understand the geopolitical complexity with our own eyes. We will also will visit the Valley of Tears where Israel Defense forces fought the miraculous fight against the Syrian Army winning the war and saving the country.

Tel Dan

A National Park where we will hike the natural reservation that has ancient trees, natural wide water streams and waterfalls. The Dan River is one of the main sources of water of Israel. The park contains impressive remains from the Biblical city Dan, including an altar with the similar size of the First Temple altar on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

It also has the most ancient gate and wall from the Canaanite period 1550-1750 BCE. The most important inscription in Biblical Archeology was found at the site: The House Of David inscription, mentioning for the first time, rarely [??], the name of King David Dynasty external to The Bible (9th century BCE).

Banias (Hermon Stream Nature Preserve)

The Banias National Park is located on the cliff of the east bank of the Jordan River, and local legend tells us that that the three main rivers, Banias (Hermon), Snir and Dan, were competing who has more water. Then God united them to the Jordan River which runs to the Sea of Galilee from north to south.

The Greek Mythological god of the shepherds and forests, Pan,

was dancing and playing his flute causing the animals to panic. All this took place

in Panias, which became Banias in the Muslim Era. Since it was a sacred site, the Greek, the Romans, King Herod and the Byzantines have all built altars and shrines at this site.

We will hike in a special hanging bridge above the Banias Waterfall and enjoy the nature in its glory.

Bental Mountain Lookout

Driving the road to the Bentals Peak is a journey along a volcano mount that erupted 1 million years ago. The 360 degrees view around is stunning.

We will enter IDF bunker that has been there since the war in 1973, and

from there we'll observe the Eastern Border Line with Syria and learn about the geopolitical complexity of the past and today.

We will enjoy the view over The Valley of Tears and see the landscape of

the heroic battle between IDF and Syrian Army. The victory in this

battle, 1300 Syrian tanks against 120 Israeli tanks, was against all odds.

After enjoying a coffee break at the café on the hill we will continue on to Agmon

Hahula.

Agmon Hahula

Hahula, Sea of Galilee, and the Dead Sea were all created as the result of the

Tectonic shifts of the Syrian/African Break about 1.5 Million years ago when

the land broke into two rifts; east and west.

The hot springs, minerals, and volcano explosions created 3 bodies of water.

The hot weather and supply of water made this "scar" a perfect path for half a billion birds every year that migrate from

Europe to Africa every winter, resting in the small Agmon Hahula lake.

We will ride in a special tractor as undercover bird watchers into the

corn fields near the lake that are grown especially for the migrating

birds as an alternative to the damage they did in the past to the wheat

fields and fish pools in the area. This unique attraction at sunset will be surely be memorable.

Day 3

Riding horses in sunrise along the mountains overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

The Sea of Galilee is one of the icons of Land of Israel. We'll ride for 1 hour

overlooking the famous lake, a view which will imprint itself on your hard disk for a life -time!

This year 2022 the Sea of Galilee is full of water since we had a lot of rain and we use less of this water because Israel already desalinates 70% of its water from the The Mediterranean Sea. We have a saying: "the higher the level of the Kineret (Sea of Galilee in Hebrew ), the better national mood."

We will visit the Peace Lookout on the Borderline between Syria-Jordan -Israel.

In the South of The Golan Heights attached to Kibutz Kfar Haruv we will see an amazing lookout over the entire Northern region from the snow capped Mount Hermon to Mount Tabor and on to the where Syria and Jordan's borders meet.

We will experience the Yarmuch river whose water the 3 countries share, and we will learn about the geopolitical complexities in the area in the past and today.

We will also observe Kfar Haruv, the kibbutz I helped establish in 1973.

Let's continue on from the lookout to Hamat Gader -natural hot springs

and open spa that host tourists and locals from Roman Period 63 BCE till today.

We will enjoy the Hot Springs and then drive on to ancient Synagogue of Beit Alfa.

Beit Alfa ancient Synagogue

This ancient Synagogue was discovered in 1962 with an outstanding mosaic floor with a full zodiac in Hebrew, and amazing artistic decorations.

This site from the 5th century is a proof for the Jewish Revival after the destruction of The Second Temple in the year 70 CE, and after the destruction of 1000 villages and massacre of 500,000 Jews in the Bar Kochva revolt against the Roman Emperor.

Onward to the Lookout to Jericho-the ancient and contemporary city.

Jericho is considered one of the most ancient first cities in the world, dating from the 10th century BCE. From this panoramic lookout we can walk with The Bible (Old Testament) with our eyes as we will envision Joshua and the spies hiding at Rahav, the Canaanite woman's house, searching the Land Of Israel .

We can sea the huge area at the Jordan River which the Israelites crossed in 1200 BCE in order to settle the Land of Israel from north to south.

With this great memory we will enter Jerusalem and bless ourselves that we were eyewitness to this amazing country.

Admission: 190 us dollar per pax.

Masada

Masada and the Dead Sea Tour

On this ambitious day-long tour you will experience two of the most amazing marvels in Israel

Masada is an isolated cliff on the eastern slope of the Judean Desert and is one of the most amazing World Heritage Sites. It is a unique geological phenomena (Horst) that was chosen by King Herod as a natural fortress and escape from Mathias Antigonas, the last Hashmonian king.

We will climb with cable car to the top of Masada and tour king Herod’s palace, roman bath, huge cisterns, storages, ancient synagogue, ritual baths, the rebels’ houses, and the walls where the Roman Ram broke through. You will learn all about the dramatic history and the big revolt that took place on Masada.

We will be overlooking at the siege Roman camps and walls, the only remaining of its kind in the world!

After our tour of Masada, we will enjoy lunch along the shores of the Dead Sea, drive along the shoreline, and of course—for those who want to—spread mineral mud on our bodies and float on the Dead Sea’s relaxing beaches.

The Dead Sea is located between Israel and Jordan, and was created as a result of the Syrian-African geological tectonic break that took place about 1.5 million years ago.

Its surface and shores are 430.5 meters (1,412 ft) below sea level; earth's lowest elevation on land. It is 304 m (997 ft) deep, the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. The high salinity is what makes us float when we try to swim. You will see how this salinity makes for a harsh environment in which plants and animals cannot flourish. The Dead Sea has attracted visitors for thousands of years and it was one of the world's first health resorts. Due to heavy de-salination performed by various industries, the Dead Sea is receding at a swift rate causing problems, and multiple canal and pipeline proposals have been made to reduce its recession.

When: The tour will be held every other Saturday. Call for upcoming tour dates.

Admission: US $210 per person

Includes: transportation from and back to your hotel or tzimmer and your certified guide and van driver, Roni Peled, as well as entrance and cable to Masada.

Not included: Lunch, extras, tips. Dead Sea Spa optional.
